The West Fellowship

The Table Is Being Set.

A 12-month formation experience for emerging preachers and pastors shaped by sacred formation, craft development, and strategic mentorship.

There is a kind of formation that cannot happen in a classroom. It happens at a table — over time, in relationship, under the weight of real ministry. The West Fellowship was built for that.

Each year, a highly selective cohort of 5–10 emerging preachers and pastors is invited into a 12-month formation experience shaped by three commitments: sacred formation, craft development, and strategic mentorship. Fellows are chosen not for their platform but for their depth of calling — and invested in with the full resources of Pastor West’s decades of ministry experience.

The Fellowship meets in person multiple times each year and gathers virtually throughout. Fellows join a private, ongoing community of support, resource, and relationship — and carry what they receive here into the churches and communities they serve for the rest of their lives.

Sacred Formation

The interior work of spiritual direction, devotional discipline, and theological grounding. Fellows are shaped not merely as communicators but as people.

Craft Development

Direct instruction in the art and practice of preaching — sermon workshops, manuscript review, and sustained engagement with the voices of the Lecture Series.

Strategic Mentorship

Honest pastoral guidance on the life of ministry: calling, church health, leadership, and the long faithfulness that sustains a preacher across decades.

“I had people who sat with me. Who told me the truth. Who opened their table to me. Now I want to open mine.”
— Ralph Douglas West

Come to the Table.

The West Fellowship accepts a new cohort of 5–10 emerging preachers and pastors each year. Selection is not based on platform. It is based on depth of calling, teachability, and hunger to be formed. Applications open annually.

The Ralph Douglas West Lecture Series

There are moments in the life of the church when someone rises to say what the hour demands — and the Word lands not merely as information but as formation. The Ralph Douglas West Lecture Series was born of a conviction that such preaching must be preserved, elevated, and multiplied.

Each year, the Series gathers leading theologians, scholars, and practitioners to deliver lectures that treat preaching as what it has always been: sacred art, scholarly discipline, and prophetic commission. Drawing voices from across the global church, the Series creates an enduring archive of homiletical thought — a theological wellspring for every generation of preachers yet to come.

The Series convenes multiple times annually. Every lecture is recorded, produced, and made available to the global church as a lasting resource. The inaugural Series was introduced at IC3 — the Church Growth Conference founded by Pastor West — in April 2026.

Global Reach

Every lecture is made available to the worldwide church — accessible beyond any single gathering, in any season.

Multiple Events Annually

A curated series of lecture events throughout the year, each centered on a distinct theological theme.

An Enduring Archive

Every lecture joins a growing library of homiletical thought — a permanent resource for preachers now and for generations to come.
